Another victory of technology over human brain

IBM Research and five universities are working together to build computing systems which could simulate and emulate the human brain.
The computer would go with the brain’s abilities, while rivaling its low power utilization and compressed size. With inspiration from the structure, dynamics, function, and behavior of the brain, the research team heads to break the conformist programmable machine approach. . The enduring objective of the project is to display low-power, compact computers that approach mammalian-scale intelligence.
