iPhone is the next target of HP. HP (NYSE: HPQ) has announced iPrint Photo, a free application now available on Apple's App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch. iPrint Photo is planned to make customers use friendly wherever there's access to a wireless network and HP printer.
The function enables wireless printing of 4x6 photos to HP inkjet printers. HP mentioned iPrint Photo is fully compatible with Bonjour, Apple's implementation of the ZeroConf (define) "zero-configuration" networking protocol. Some older HP inkjets may not be compatible with the technology. Walker said, "Our goal is to help make printing relevant in the mobile space."
