Apple's App Store has been big hit to supplement the popularity of iPhone. Now, news that Apple is to privately preview iPhone OS 3.0 has raised expectations of many already. To complement the new iPhone OS 3.0, Apple is rumored to have created a 'premium' section in its existing App Store.

This latest move by IBM is prospective as well as interesting. It claims the first of the big vendors to not only show full support for KVM virtualization but also by actively selling it as part of their IBM Global Technology Services.

Researchers from Harvard University and IBM are working together to discover organic materials that will make solar cells cheaper and more efficient. They’re harnessing the influence of hundreds of thousands of idle PCs to do it.

iPhone is the next target of HP. HP (NYSE: HPQ) has announced iPrint Photo, a free application now available on Apple's App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch. iPrint Photo is planned to make customers use friendly wherever there's access to a wireless network and HP printer.
The function enables wireless printing of 4x6 photos to HP inkjet printers. HP mentioned iPrint Photo is fully compatible with Bonjour, Apple's implementation of the ZeroConf (define) "zero-configuration" networking protocol.
